Our students embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Canberra, diving into a week packed with fun, learning, and discovery. The trip was filled with exciting educational experiences that brought Australia鈥檚 history, government, science, and culture to life in engaging and meaningful ways.
A major highlight was the visit to Parliament House, where students participated in a mock parliamentary session; debating, voting, and learning about how our democracy functions. At Questacon, they explored interactive exhibits that sparked curiosity and encouraged hands-on learning in science and technology.
Despite the chilly Canberra mornings, one day dipping to a brisk -3掳C, our students embraced each day with enthusiasm. They had the chance to visit the Australian Institute of Sport, where they watched elite athletes train and learned about the dedication and discipline required to compete at the highest level. Orienteering challenges at the National Arboretum tested their navigation and teamwork skills, while visits to the Royal Australian Mint and the National Gallery of Australia offered deeper insights into the nation's currency, history, and art.
Of course, there was also time for fun, with laser tag providing a chance to unwind and enjoy time with friends.
This trip is a highlight of the school year and a cherished tradition that offers students the chance to grow in independence, strengthen friendships, and see their classroom learning come to life through real-world experiences.
